My ex-husband stopped paying child support two months after the divorce. Sporadically, we'd get something, but basically he just said he couldn't afford it at the time. We didn't get regular payments until last year with Supportkids.

It was really hard having three boys in school and just trying to explain to them why we didn't have the money at certain times. My ex-husband's mother was a great help to us, and eventually I remarried and it got easier, but still. A lot of times I had to sacrifice shoes and clothes for the kids when they probably needed them the most. In between seasons was the hardest, going from summer to winter with boys growing out of things so quickly. I would have to say you get a coat this payday to one son and then next payday you can have one.

The child support agency in my state couldn't get child support from him either. It was like a big runaround, going in between the state I was in and the state he was in. I hired a lawyer and he got child support started for a while, but then it stopped again. No matter what I tried it just never worked out. I couldn't afford to keep trying to get a lawyer to keep the case going so I finally dropped it.

I was watching Lifetime and saw your ad. I wrote the number down and kept it for a while before I decided that I might as well give it a try. I was just really pleased with Supportkids' services. I liked how they kept me updated on everything. The efficiency and quickness of everything was really wonderful.

I was just amazed when I got my first check. It was a relief to keep receiving checks. Basically you can plan for things because you know it's coming, and you can tell the kids that when the money comes they'll be able to do certain things.

When you go so long without help and then you have someone just immediately come in and take action, you appreciate it. You still know there's going to be a waiting period but it was still the best experience I had. Supportkids doesn't hassle you and they do all the work. All you have to have is information and they can do the rest.
