As Chief Financial Officer, Dianne Erlewine puts her financial and management experience to
work for clients every day. And she does it because she is committed to achieving Supportkids’
mission of helping families.
As a single mother for eight years with two children, Dianne knows first-hand the
challenges facing custodial parents. She also knows that sound financial management enables
Supportkids to provide the highest possible level of service and to continue to provide a
private company option to custodial parents.
“There is no doubt that this company exists to devote all our energy and resources to
executing our mission,” she says. “What we do is very rewarding. We’re changing people’s lives
on a daily basis and really making a difference for their families.”
Dianne came to Supportkids in 2000 following a 12-year career at VTEL, an Austin-based video
technology company where she was one of the earliest employees. During her tenure at VTEL, she
had a variety of roles and responsibilities, including finance, operations, strategic and
financial planning, and merger and acquisition activities. When it came time for a change,
Dianne looked for a company where she felt closely connected to the mission.
“I had great experiences with VTEL, growing from a small start-up to an international
public company, but personally I wanted to make a difference,” she says. “There is no question
about our focus at Supportkids, we are here to collect child support for our clients. I feel
very connected to our mission here at Supportkids.”
Dianne is an Oklahoma native who moved to Houston at an early age. She received a BBA
in Engineering Route to Business Management from the University of Texas at Austin and has
lived in Austin for the last 28 years.
