CLIENT DEVLOPMENT SPECIALIST
SUMMARY: Responsible for successfully achieving a targeted number of completed applications from prospective
clients. Goals are set monthly. Work is conducted over the phone.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include both inbound and outbound calls. Other duties may be assigned.
Inbound Calls:
- Effectively communicate information about the child support services that Supportkids offers.
- Conduct qualifying interviews with callers to determine eligibility for services.
- Identify callers’ concerns and address them by providing relevant, accurate information about services and fees.
- Answer questions about applications currently in process by referencing account notes, giving updates and continuing
to encourage the return of applications.
- Maintain professionalism, composure and relationship-building skills in a high volume, emotionally charged environment.
Outbound Calls:
- Manage individual caseload by making follow up calls to prospective clients in order to obtain returned applications.
- 100+ calls per day to follow up with prospective clients- no cold calling.
- Follow up for application return.
- Follow up on returned applications to obtain additional information required for complete case files.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2-3 years experience in the telephone sales
industry may substitute for degree requirements. Proficiency in basic applications such as Microsoft Word and
Excel is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
